Hey All,
We have new software!! I have been busy integrating it into the old website and it's now working!
What does this mean for me? I hear you ask. Well it means we are now broadcasting 24/7 so tune in whenever you like!

98.7 is no more

It is with sadness that we have removed the 98.7 from all Whiplash FM media. This is to rebrand the station in line with our online stream. The 98.7 frequency was selected back in 2004 with it forming a fundamental part of our brand.

A Radical Change is Coming...

Our studios are being re-located. This means that we will become an online station only, that is no more FM broadcasts. The infrastructure is currently being installed and we shall hopefully have an online stream by the end of July.

24/7 Broadcasting

Due to staffing issues here at Whiplash FM, We have been unable to provide programming 24/7. We are looking at an automated solution, however, we think that there should be announcers on the air as often as possible. If you think you would be interested in doing some shifts as an announcer please do not hesitate to contact us.

Outside Broadcast

We successfully completed our first outside broadcast on Thurs 6 of March. Whiplash was well recieved by the punters. A huge thankyou to Don for getting the punters involved and to Spud for his technical assistance.

Test Transmissions

Our test transmissions are underway. These are expected to be completed at 12:00am Monday 25th February. Our official broadcast will start at 6.30am the same day. If you have any comments about our audio, please send us an email.

Under Construction

Please be patient while we iron out bugs with our website. If you find any bugs please email them to us. Your understanding is much appreciated.

OK, I'll admit I'm a hopeless graphic designer. This is where you guys come in! We here at Whiplash want you to design us a new logo. You design will be featured on anything and everything to do with Whiplash FM, so get creating and email your designs to us.
